The NEMO Aurora Highrise Footprint is a ground sheet cut to the exact floor shape of the NEMO Aurora Highrise tent, placed underneath to shield the tent floor from the ground. Its abrasion-resistant polyester absorbs the wear from grit, roots and sharp stones, protecting the tent's own floor fabric and reducing the chance of it wearing through or puncturing on rough camp sites. As a tent-specific accessory rather than a universal footprint, it only fits the Aurora Highrise — check the model before buying. It adds some weight and a bit more setup versus pitching straight on the tent floor, worthwhile on gravel, rocky or high-traffic sites and less needed on soft, clean ground like grass.
