NEMO Airpin Stakes (4-Pack)

NEMO's Airpin stakes are ultralight aluminium pegs, 15 cm long and 10 g each, sold in packs of four. A three-point line-lock groove lets you clip a guyline directly onto the stake and tension it without tying a knot, which speeds up pitching and repitching a tarp or shelter in the dark or in wind. At 15 cm they hold reasonably in firm dirt or packed trail soil but, like any thin aluminium stake, will bend in rocky or very hard ground and offer little grip in loose sand or snow. Compatibility is universal, so they work with any shelter's guyline points, not just NEMO tents. Four stakes cover the main guy-out points of a small tarp or a single-wall shelter's vestibule and corners; for a full four-season pitch or a tent needing more anchor points, you would want to combine this pack with additional stakes.
