Thermarest Down Pillow

The Thermarest Down Pillow is a compressible pillow filled with 650-fill hydrophobic goose down, wrapped in a soft polyester microfiber shell. Unlike inflatable pillows, loft is adjusted with a drawcord — cinch it down for a lower, firmer pillow or loosen it for more volume and softness, without needing to control it by breath count. Unfolded, it measures 48 × 36 cm and weighs 159 g, putting it toward the lighter end of compressible pillows — a step up in comfort from just balling up a jacket, without the weight or crinkly feel of a hard-shelled inflatable pillow. The down fill also conforms to head and neck shape more naturally than foam or air-only constructions. When you need more loft or support, you can stuff the pillow with extra clothing, effectively turning it into an adjustable shell that scales with however much spare clothing you're carrying that evening.
