The Glow Synthetic Quilt 50 is the warm-weather version in Sea to Summit's synthetic quilt line, rated to a comfort temperature of 10°C with a limit of 4°C — a summer piece rather than a shoulder-season one. Like its Quilt 30 sibling it uses continuous-filament synthetic insulation instead of down, trading some warmth-to-weight efficiency for consistent performance in humidity and easier care, and it weighs 650 g. The construction skips a zipper and hood entirely in favor of an open quilt design, held in place on a sleeping pad by attachment loops and closed at the foot end with a cinch-cord footbox. A DWR-treated 30D nylon shell and 20D liner add basic weather resistance, and the quilt compresses into a 36 x 15 cm, 3.4 L stuff sack for packing. Sized for users up to 183 cm, it suits warm-weather backpackers and thru-hikers who want a light, packable top layer without down's moisture sensitivity.
