Cumulus X-Lite 300

The Cumulus X-Lite 300 is a three-season, mummy-shaped down bag filled with 300 g of Polish goose down at 900 cuin (US standard fill power), in a 90/10 down-to-feather ratio. At 465 g total weight, its comfort rating of 2 °C and limit of -4 °C put it in familiar spring/autumn territory, with an extreme rating of -20 °C. Horizontal trapezoidal baffles and a non-differential cut make for a simpler but proven construction, offset by a two-way, 2/3-length zip on the left side and an anatomical shark-fin footbox designed to reduce cold spots at the feet. A 202 cm internal length and 77 cm shoulder width give room to taller users, and it packs to a fairly standard 20×15 cm (3.5 l). At 116.3 g of weight per degree of warmth, it sits in the middle of the pack rather than at the cutting edge of efficiency — those chasing lower weight at the same temperature should look at a higher down ratio. For three-season trekking where every gram matters but isn't everything, it's a dependable option.
