The Cumulus Panyam 450 sits toward the warmer end of Cumulus's three-season range, with 450 g of 850-fill-power goose down (95/5 ratio) rated to a 0 °C comfort and -6 °C limit under EN ISO 23537 testing, with an extreme rating of -23 °C. Notably, the down itself is hydrophobically treated — a DWR coating applied to the individual down clusters rather than just the shell — which helps the fill resist moisture and retain loft better in damp conditions than untreated down. At 810 g total weight, it's built with a slightly roomier cut than the Lite Line series: 80 cm shoulder width and 55 cm hip width versus 77/51 cm elsewhere in the range, worth noting if a snug mummy fit matters to you. Trapezoidal baffles with a differential cut, a down-filled draft collar and draft tube along the zip, and a 3D anatomical hood with an anatomical footbox round out the cold-weather details.
