The Feathered Friends Condor YF 20 is the lighter, less extreme-rated sibling of the Condor YF — a rectangular bag with a uniform 81 cm width at shoulders, hips, and feet (no tapering), filled with 736 g of 900FP goose down. The manufacturer's -7°C rating at 1303 g works out to 186 g per degree, a higher figure than the colder Condor YF 10 — a natural result of the rectangular (not mummy) shape combined with a smaller down charge. A two-way zipper running along both sides lets two Condor bags be coupled into a double — a useful option for couples sharing a trip, or for hikers who prefer rectangular room over a snugger mummy fit. The Pertex YFuse shell is water-resistant (not a membrane like the expedition-grade shells), and the liner is 20d nylon taffeta made from recycled fishing nets. The bag skips both hood and draft collar, though a draft tube along the zipper remains. It packs to 17 liters, the package includes a stuff sack and storage sack, and the recommended maximum user height is 182 cm. This is a comfortable bag for milder shoulder-season conditions and general camping rather than a specialized winter piece.
