The Feathered Friends Ibis EX 0 is an expedition-grade winter bag designed to cope with wet snow and tent condensation without an outer bivy. It carries 808 g of 900+ fill power goose down for a total weight of 1384 g, and a manufacturer limit rating of -18°C places it firmly in the four-season winter category.
The defining feature is the Pertex Shield EX waterproof/breathable shell, which tolerates direct contact with a damp tent wall or frost without soaking the down beneath — something a standard shell handles far less gracefully. Continuous baffles keep the fill evenly distributed, and an adjustable contoured hood, draft collar and draft tube limit heat loss when temperatures drop hard.
Made in Seattle and RDS certified, the bag ships with both a stuff sack and a storage sack; the unisex Regular size fits up to 182 cm. This is a tool for winter mountaineering and cold-weather expeditions, where a waterproof shell matters more than shaving off the last grams.
