The Feathered Friends Winter Wren is a mummy-shaped goose down sleeping bag rated to -4°C, built around 522 g of 900 fill power down inside a 936 g total weight (Regular size) that packs down to 9 litres — figures that put it firmly in cold-weather backpacking territory rather than three-season use. The high fill power is what lets it hit that rating without the bag becoming bulky: 900 fill power down traps more warmth per gram than lower-power fills, which is why the weight stays close to a kilogram despite the low temperature rating.
What sets it apart functionally is the two-way front zip and zippered arm holes, letting the bag be worn like a garment with arms free — useful for belaying, cooking, or moving around camp in the cold without fully emerging from the bag.
