The Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass Gore-Tex 15F/-9C pairs a down fill with a Gore-Tex INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER membrane on the 40D nylon shell, a combination aimed at exposed alpine bivouacs rather than standard tent camping, where ordinary shell DWR is usually sufficient. It's EN/ISO 23537 tested to -3°C comfort and -9°C limit, filled with 650g of 650-fill-power goose down at an 80/10 down-to-feather ratio. At 1188g, it's noticeably heavier than the non-membrane Bishop Pass 15F/-9C (1060g) — the roughly 128g difference is the cost of the membrane and the longer cut, sized to 198cm versus 182cm on the standard version. A two-way zipper and coupleability with a second bag extend its usefulness for pairs sharing a base camp. An adjustable hood, shaped draft collar, and full-length draft tube are standard across the Bishop Pass line, and this bag carries a men's-specific cut.
