The Mountain Hardwear Bozeman 0F/-18C is a synthetic winter bag with Thermal.Q insulation, EN/ISO 23537 tested to -11°C comfort and -18°C limit. Unlike the down-filled Bishop Pass bags, synthetic insulation keeps working when it gets wet, which matters most where condensation or tent leaks are a risk — the trade-off is weight and bulk: 1590g and 18L packed, more than the comparably rated down Bishop Pass 0F (1420g).
The Bozeman 0F is also cut "short," sized for users up to 172cm tall with a 147cm shoulder girth — a compact, unisex build rather than a one-size-fits-all shape. A two-way zipper and coupleability with a second bag suit pairs sharing a tent at base camp. Both shell and liner use 75D polyester, tougher against abrasion than the thinner nylons on the down models, useful if the bag sees regular contact with rock or ground. A stuff sack is included.
