As a limit rather than comfort rating, -7°C represents the point where an average sleeper stays just barely warm, so plan for a genuinely cold night rather than a comfortable one at that temperature. Synthetic fill and the spacious cut keep this squarely in car-camping territory — at 2620 g it's not a bag anyone would choose to carry on a backpacking trip, but for late-autumn or early-spring car camping where temperatures can drop well below freezing, the extra insulation and roomy fit are the point.
