The Mountain Hardwear Bozeman 15F/-9C is a three-season synthetic bag with Thermal.Q Recycled insulation, EN/ISO 23537 tested to -3°C comfort and -9°C limit. A shingle-baffle construction for the 1489g fill helps eliminate the cold spots that typically plague seams in cheaper synthetic bags, and both the recycled insulation and 75D polyester shell/liner prioritize durability and sustainability over minimizing weight. At 2048g total and 13.8L packed, the Bozeman 15F is a considerably heavier three-season option — the comparably rated down Bishop Pass 15F weighs 1060g, nearly a kilogram less. Synthetic fill doesn't mind moisture and is cheaper to produce and maintain, though, so the Bozeman 15F makes more sense for car camping, cabin trips, or as a reliable backup in wet conditions than for weight-conscious backpacking. An internal length of 218cm and a unisex cut to 183cm provide generous room, with a two-way zipper and coupleability rounding out the feature set.
