At 599 g total weight and a 3.2-liter packed volume, it is among the more compressible 3-season options in the Phantom line, helped by a three-quarter-length rather than full-length zipper that trims a little weight and bulk at the cost of slightly less venting flexibility. EN/ISO 23537 testing rates comfort at -1°C, limit at -4°C, and extreme at -21°C. This is the short-length cut, sized for users up to 172 cm, with 147 cm shoulder and 132 cm hip width — a snugger fit that trims dead air space and helps the down perform closer to its rated warmth, but it will not suit taller hikers. Adjustable fitted hood, draft collar, and draft tube handle the usual cold spots. It is a solid pick for 3-season backpacking and thru-hiking where minimizing pack weight matters, as long as the shorter cut fits the user.
