The NEMO Kayu 15 is an ultralight men's mummy bag rated for shoulder-season backpacking, with a comfort rating of -3°C and a limit of -9°C per EN ISO 23537 testing. It's filled with 480 g of 800 fill-power goose down, hydrophobic-treated and RDS-certified, bringing total bag weight to 985 g. The 20D nylon ripstop shell with DWR and 30D nylon taffeta liner keep weight down without sacrificing durability. A contoured hood, draft collar, and draft tube along the zipper cut heat loss on cold nights, and the full-length left-side zipper allows two bags from the same line to be coupled together. A 198 cm internal length fits users up to 183 cm tall. It packs to 30 × 18 cm and ships with both a compression stuff sack and a mesh storage sack; the down is PFC-free. This is a bag suited to spring and fall trips or alpine conditions where nights drop well below freezing but pack weight still matters.
