Patizon D 590

The Patizon D 590 is a three-season down bag filled with 590 g of European duck down (700+ cuin, 90/10 ratio). EN/ISO 23537 testing puts the comfort rating at -5 °C and the limit at -11 °C, with a manufacturer-quoted extreme of -30 °C — treat that last figure as a survival floor rather than a usable comfort number. A differential cut spreads the down evenly around the shell, a two-way YKK zip lets you vent from the feet or the top, and an adjustable hood plus insulated draft collar and zipper draft tube cut heat loss at the seams. The Toray Airtastic 38 g/m² shell carries a DWR finish to shed tent condensation. At 940 g in size M and packing to roughly 10 litres, the D 590 sits between a summer bag and a dedicated winter one — good for cold shoulder-season trips or milder winter nights where a full winter bag would be overkill. Shoulder width of 67 cm and hip width of 60 cm leave room to sleep in an extra layer.
