The Patizon G1100 is a winter expedition bag filled with 1,100 g of European goose down (850 cuin, 90/10 ratio). EN ISO 23537 testing rates it at -14 °C comfort, -22 °C limit and -46 °C extreme — figures aimed at genuinely severe cold, not a marketing number. Z-box baffle construction with a differential cut keeps the down evenly distributed under sustained expedition use, and the Toray Airtastic 33 g/m² shell with a DWR finish resists condensation inside the tent. A trapezoidal foot box leaves room to sleep with boots or a water bottle inside the bag. At 1,430 g, the G1100 sits firmly in the expedition category rather than the ultralight one — the 63 cm shoulder and 56 cm hip width are deliberately narrow for thermal efficiency. It's built for alpinism and expeditions in extreme cold, not casual winter weekends, where it would be unnecessarily heavy and warm.
