The REI Co-op HunkerDown 20 is a roomy rectangular sleeping bag filled with RDS-certified 600-fill-power duck down, built for comfort camping down to -7°C (20°F). At 84 cm across the shoulders and hips, it gives more room to move than a snug mummy cut, and the full-length two-way zipper lets it open flat as a blanket or zip together with a second bag. The 550 g fill sits inside a recycled polyester shell with a polyester liner and DWR finish, backed by a draft collar and zipper draft tube. An oversized drawcord hood fits a pillow from home, which suits campers prioritizing comfort over thru-hiking minimalism. In the long size (fitting up to 198 cm), it weighs 1700 g and compresses to 9.1 L (38 × 18 cm) packed.
