REI Co-op Magma 30 Sleeping Bag - Men's

The REI Co-op Magma 30 (men's) is an ultralight mummy bag with premium 850-fill-power hydrophobic goose down at a 90/10 down-to-feather ratio. A 4°C comfort rating and -1°C limit put it squarely in three-season territory — spring, summer, and fall outside genuinely wintry conditions. In regular size (fitting up to 182 cm), it weighs just 561 g with 241 g of fill — weight more typical of ultralight quilts than conventional sleeping bags. The shell is 15D Pertex Quantum ripstop nylon with a 15D ripstop nylon liner, both very light while still holding up to regular backpacking use. The zipper runs the full length on the left side but, unlike some other bags in the line, is not two-way. A shaped, drawcord-adjustable hood and foot box ventilation help regulate temperature across warmer and colder nights, while a draft collar and zipper tube limit heat loss. Packed, the bag compresses to just 6.7 L (33 × 15 cm), and both a stuff sack and a storage sack are included. The down is RDS-certified.
