GG Nighlight

The Gossamer Gear NightLight is a sectional closed-cell EVA foam pad made of five foldable 12 mm panels. It's built as a direct alternative to the Therm-a-Rest Z Lite — the most widely used folding foam pad on the market — using the same accordion-style folding that sets up instantly with no pumping and zero risk of puncture. An R-value of 1.4 puts it among the thinner foam pads suited to three-season use; on its own it won't be enough for snow or sub-freezing temperatures, and it's typically paired with an inflatable pad on top for added insulation. At 227 g, the weight is a standard figure for a foam pad in this category. It suits trips where reliability and puncture resistance matter more than maximum sleeping comfort — terrain with sharp rocks or twigs where inflatable pads risk failing. The folding panels also double as extra padding inside a backpack or a seat during breaks.
