It pitches on two trekking poles and has 7 attachment points for the included guylines. A fine no-see-um mesh is sewn around the full perimeter, keeping insects out without the shelter needing a sewn-in floor. Going floorless means the user has to handle ground contact separately, whether with a standalone groundsheet or a bivy, so this shelter is aimed at experienced ultralight hikers who accept that trade-off for minimal pack weight. Its universal tarp shape allows more pitching configurations than a single-purpose design.
