Hyperlite Mountain Gear Roll-Top Food Bag

The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Roll-Top Food Bag is a lightweight storage sack made from fully waterproof Dyneema fabric with taped seams, sold in a 10 litre size at 32 g and a 15 litre size at 39 g. The roll-top closure seals the contents against rain and, in bear-country use, against odour escaping - though it is not a certified bear canister and offers no protection against a determined animal, only against casual scent detection. A flat base helps it stand upright when packed, and reflective trim makes it easier to find at the bottom of a pack or hanging from a bear line in the dark. At 32 g for 10 litres it adds almost no weight to a food-storage system, but it is a simple pouch - no internal organization, no compression straps - so it works best as one component of a hang or canister system rather than a standalone dry bag for anything beyond food and soft items.
