Zpacks Big Food Bag

The Big Food Bag from Zpacks is a Dyneema (DCF) sack sized for around 3-4 days of food — shorter than the Large Food Bag, suited to weekend and short multi-day trips between resupply. Dyneema's abrasion resistance holds up to the rope friction and tree-bark contact of bear-bagging (a PCT-style hang), rather than tearing after a night or two of use. The tough fabric also stands up better to gnawing rodents than a lightweight stuff sack fabric would, though it's not a rodent-proof container — a determined animal with time can still get through it. It's a storage bag, not a certified bear canister, so check local regulations before relying on it as your sole food protection where canisters are required.
