Zpacks Pack Cover

The Zpacks Pack Cover is an ultralight rain cover sized to shield the whole pack, including outer mesh or stretch pockets that a cover cut only for the main body would leave exposed. An elastic clip at the top and hooks at the bottom hold it in place, which matters on exposed ridgelines or in gusty weather where a loose-fitting cover can flap or blow off. It's waterproof, so it's built to keep contents dry through sustained rain rather than just a brief shower. As with any pack cover, it protects against rain from above but won't stop water wicking up from a pack set down in a puddle, so pairing it with a dry bag or pack liner is still worth it for the electronics or sleep system inside.
