The Hyberg BANDIT is a frameless ultralight pack with 40 litres of volume made from X-Pac VX-07S fabric, weighing 480 g in total — around 12 g per litre, putting it in the same weight bracket as lighter fastpacking packs. Roughly 70 × 27 × 14 cm with an adjustable back length spanning a 45–65 cm torso range, it covers a reasonable spread of body sizes. The roll-top closure allows continuous compression to match the load, side pockets fit 1.5-litre bottles reachable without taking the pack off, and a chest strap helps stabilize the load while running or moving fast. The hip belt is removable and unpadded — a weight-saving choice, but one that shifts more pressure onto the shoulders than a padded belt once loads approach the recommended 12 kg maximum. It's built for fastpackers and ultralight hikers who prioritize a stripped-down, low-weight build over extensive pockets and removable features — well suited to fast, lighter-load movement, less so to heavier multi-day resupply carries.
