The Hyberg BANDIT Lite is the lightened version of the BANDIT line — a frameless 40-litre pack made from Dyneema Composite Fabric weighing just 395 g, under 10 g per litre of volume. Compared with the standard BANDIT it sheds nearly 100 g by switching from X-Pac to DCF and using UltraTNT seam sealing instead of conventional sewn construction.
Unlike the stripped-back frame, the hip belt is padded and removable, adjustable for a waist range of 80–130 cm, the shoulder straps carry standard padding with pockets, and a chest strap adds stability. Two deep side stretch-mesh pockets fit 1.5-litre bottles, a front pocket adds further quick-access storage, and the pack is hydration-compatible. The roll-top closure and highly water-resistant fabric keep contents dry in ordinary rain without needing a separate cover.
The maker positions it for multi-day trips of roughly three to five nights with loads up to 12 kg — better suited to experienced ultralight hikers with a dialed-in kit than to beginners still carrying conventional heavier gear.
