The Kelty Asher 65 is the largest standard model in the Asher line, a 65-liter pack built on an Advanced Perimeter Frame for multi-day trekking. Like the 55-liter version, the main compartment opens from the bottom as well as the top, giving access to a sleeping bag or clothing at the base without unpacking everything above it.
At 1502 g the pack comes to 23.1 g per liter, the most favorable ratio in the Asher range relative to its capacity. Unlike its smaller siblings, the Asher 65's spec sheet lists no chest strap, which could affect load stability on longer stretches with a heavier pack. The AMP-Flow mesh back panel and load-lifter straps carry over from the rest of the line.
Storage matches the family pattern: two front pockets, two side pockets, and hydration-reservoir compatibility, without an integrated rain cover. The 600D Polyester Oxford construction handles routine trail abrasion. The Asher 65 is built for multi-day trips that need more carrying capacity than the 35- or 55-liter versions offer.
