The LiteAF Ultra 40L Curve Frameless is the largest frameless pack in this lineup, offering 40 L of capacity at 793 g in its maximum build — notably heavier than the smaller 20L, 30L, or 35L siblings, though still within ultralight territory relative to its volume. The body is made from Ultra 200X fabric, with the main compartment closing via a roll-top. Unlike the smaller models in the range, this one skips a front pocket, keeping just the two side pockets. It uses 5-point side compression to cinch the volume down on a partial load and stabilize the pack while moving. The hip belt is padded, and the shoulder straps add load lifters, a feature absent on the smaller LiteAF models, helping transfer weight onto the shoulders more effectively when fully loaded. Like the rest of the Curve series, it is a custom-built pack aimed at thru-hiking and multi-day trekking. Given its higher weight and lack of hydration compatibility, it suits hikers who specifically need the 40 L capacity and accept somewhat more grams than the smaller frameless models.
