The Osprey Ariel 65 extends the Ariel line to 65 liters (62 l main compartment) and, at 2219 g, delivers a 29.3 l/kg ratio — a bit better than the smaller Ariel 55, since the added capacity didn't require a proportional jump in construction weight. It's a women's-specific internal-frame pack built for multi-day loads. The padded contact back system, together with a chest strap and load lifters, keeps the load centered close to the back. The main compartment opens three ways — top lid, front J-zip, and bottom access — so contents are reachable without unpacking everything. One front and two side pockets cover quick-access needs, and dual ice axe loops allow carrying technical gear on rougher sections. The fabric combines 420HD nylon packcloth with tougher 210D nylon Diamond reinforcement, both recycled-content and bluesign-certified. The pack is hydration-compatible, includes an integrated rain cover, and carries a 99-year warranty.
