Osprey Eja 58

The Eja 58 extends the ultralight Eja line into larger volume — a 50-liter main body plus an 8-liter extension collar add up to 58 liters at just 1,280 g. That's under 22 g per liter, a better ratio than the smaller Eja 48 since the added capacity carries little extra material. The suspension is the same design: aluminum stays with a tensioned AirSpeed mesh back panel and adjustable torso length. One notable feature is a separate bottom sleeping-bag compartment (two compartments total), useful when you don't want to dig through the whole pack for gear stored at the base. The top lid with its pocket is fixed rather than removable, unlike the Eja 48's lid. The body is 100D recycled nylon with a heavier 210D base fabric and a PFC-free DWR finish, plus trekking-pole attachment points and a lifetime free-repair program. No integrated rain cover comes with it either.
