The Fly Creek UL2 Footprint (2025) is the tent-specific groundsheet for the current Fly Creek UL2, made from recycled 30-denier nylon ripstop with Big Agnes's HyperBead coating rated to 1500 mm waterproofing. At 142 g, it adds a modest amount to overall pack weight for the floor protection it provides, and the heavier 30D fabric compared to the tent's own 15D floor material reflects its job of taking direct ground abrasion. Its key function is enabling Fast Fly setup — fly and poles pitched with the footprint but without the inner tent body — trimming weight for trips where full mesh enclosure isn't necessary. Cut specifically for the UL2's floor shape, it's not a universal accessory: it won't fit the Fly Creek HV UL2 (a different tent despite the similar name) or older Fly Creek UL2 generations if the floor pattern has changed.
