It uses recycled 15D nylon ripstop with HyperBead technology and a 1500 mm waterproof treatment — a thinner, lighter fabric than typical footprints, with a higher hydrostatic head to compensate for the reduced material weight. At just 113 g, it is among the lightest footprints in its category, complementing the already low weight of the Tiger Wall UL1 itself (850 g trail weight). Compatibility with TipLok buckles allows quick assembly in a Fast Fly configuration — fly and poles only, no inner tent — cutting weight further for short summer trips or bivvying without the need for mesh insect protection. It is tied exclusively to the Tiger Wall UL1 model and cannot be used as a universal ground sheet under other tents.
