This footprint is cut specifically for the Hilleberg Allak 2, weighs 395 g and attaches directly to the tent during setup. It covers the full tent floor and the rainfly vestibule area, so the sleeping compartment and the entrance porch are both protected from ground moisture, grit and abrasion rather than just the inner tent footprint. That full-vestibule coverage means gear left at the entrance — boots, a pack, a stove — sits on a protected layer even on wet or rocky pitches, which is the main advantage over a body-only footprint at a similar weight.
