YAMA Mountain Gear Bug Shelter 2P - SilPoly

The Yama Mountain Gear Bug Shelter 2P in SilPoly is an add-on mesh inner designed to hang under a separate tarp rather than a standalone tent — it handles bugs and splash-back from the ground while the tarp overhead handles rain and wind. The bathtub floor is 20D SilPoly, a silicone/PU-coated polyester, paired with no-see-um mesh walls (0.6 mm openings) fine enough to keep out biting midges as well as mosquitoes. At 213 × 142 cm the floor footprint is sized to work under most two-person tarps or large A-frame shelters, so it isn't locked to one specific tarp model the way some paired systems are. Its 430 g weight (Regular size) sits in the middle of the range for two-person mesh inners — heavier than a bare tarp alone, lighter than a full double-wall tent. Multiple entry points let two people get in and out without climbing over each other, and two interior pockets hold small items overnight. It suits pairs doing base-camp-style nights where a tarp handles the weather and the net handles the bugs.
