YAMA Mountain Gear 2P Cirriform DW

The 2P Cirriform DW is a two-person, double-wall tarp-tent that trades some of the ultralight category's minimalism for the comfort of a separate mesh inner. Pitched with two trekking poles (non-freestanding, stakes required), it splits into a 445 g fly in 20D recycled SilPoly and a 417 g no-see-um mesh inner, for a total packed weight of 987 g — light for a genuine two-person double-wall shelter, though heavier than most solo ultralight tents. Floor area is 2.4 m² (213 × 117 cm) with a 28 cm bathtub floor for splash protection, but the single door and single vestibule mean one occupant handles entry and gear storage for both — a real trade-off for two-person use. Peak height of 112 cm keeps the profile low and wind-resistant rather than sit-up spacious. Two interior pockets and reflective guylines round out the practical details. Aimed at three-season backpacking and thru-hiking pairs who want inner-tent bug and condensation separation without going to a heavier freestanding double-wall tent, at roughly 494 g per person.
