Zpacks Big Ass Camp Tarp 10x13 ft

The Zpacks Big Ass Camp Tarp is the brand's largest tarp, sized 10x13 ft (about 12.08 m2) and cut as a flat rectangle rather than the catenary shapes used on Zpacks' smaller shelters. That size covers a full picnic table or turns into a dry porch pitched over a tent door, giving a group somewhere to cook and sit out a downpour without crowding into one shelter. Eight attachment points allow several pitch configurations, from a flat A-frame to a lean-to angled against wind. It ships complete with a stuff sack, 50 ft of guyline and two carabiners, so nothing extra needs buying before the first trip. This is a basecamp and car-camping tarp rather than a solo backpacking shelter: the flat-rectangular cut sheds wind less predictably than a catenary tarp, and a tarp covering this much area is not something one person carries alone on a long-distance hike.
