Big Agnes Crag Lake SL3

The Crag Lake SL3 is the three-person version of the same line, built around a single 7000-series aluminum pole with a swivel hub — a minimalist structure that reduces pitching to a few steps but offers fewer support points than a two-pole design. The 224 × 168 cm floor narrows to 152 cm at the foot end, and 112 cm of peak height allows sitting up without stooping. Fly, floor and inner body all use recycled Mipan Regen Robic double-ripstop nylon, with a fully mesh inner for airflow. Minimum weight of 1,928 g works out to 717 g per person — a somewhat better ratio than the smaller SL2's 964 g per person, since the pole and fly weight is split across more sleepers, though still above the Copper Spur UL line's figures. Twelve 6.75-inch Dirt Dagger UL stakes, reflective guylines and factory-taped seams are standard, while four interior pockets and a gear loft — absent on the SL2 — add storage. No repair kit is listed, and only a single stuff sack ships with the tent.
