The Big Agnes Gold Camp 3 Tarp is a pyramid-style shelter for three people, pitched with a single trekking pole, made from PU-coated polyester taffeta rated to 1,500 mm. Peak height adjusts between 168–203 cm, letting you tune interior volume to conditions. As a non-freestanding design, it depends on solid staking — the package includes 12 Big Agnes Dirt Dagger UL stakes and reflective guylines for camp visibility. At 5.23 m² of floor area (1.74 m² per person), the shelter is generously sized for its weight class: 2,068 g total, with a minimum trail weight of 1,726 g (689 g per person). It has a single door and is floorless with no built-in mesh inner, though it's compatible with the optional Gold Camp Mesh Inner for fully enclosed, bug-proof use. A separate footprint is also available. Suited to groups or families of up to three on 3-season ultralight and thru-hiking trips who want a light tarp shelter while keeping the option to add an inner tent as conditions demand.
