The Sea to Summit Telos TR3 scales the Telos family's Tension Ridge architecture up to three people, keeping the elevated ridge pole that gives it a 133 cm peak height — tall enough for most occupants to sit fully upright, unusual at this weight class. Trail weight is 2,118 g (minimum 1,920 g), with a 3.67 m² floor roughly 181 cm wide at the head and 147 cm at the foot, about 706 g and 1.22 m² per person for three.
Like the TR2, it is a double-wall, freestanding tent using DAC Featherlite NSL aluminium poles, a 15D ripstop nylon fly and a 20D bathtub floor with a 15 cm wall height for protection against pooling water. Two doors and two roughly 1 m² vestibules mean each occupant can manage their own entry and gear storage rather than sharing one.
Packing to 49 × 15 cm, this is a shelter for groups rather than solo ultralight setups — the per-person weight is reasonable for a three-person tent, but the total package works best split across two or three packs.
