The Eureka SUMMER PASS 3 is the three-person counterpart to the SUMMER PASS 2, keeping the dual-door, dual-vestibule layout and freestanding double-wall dome design but scaling up floor space to 3.97 m² (1.32 m² per person). Packed weight rises to 3.43 kg (2.7 kg minimum) – 1.14 kg per person, in line with what a mid-weight group shelter typically costs when comfort features like two full doors are prioritized over minimal weight. Aluminum poles at 8.5 mm support a 68D polyester fly rated to 1500 mm, while the bathtub floor of the same material is rated to 2000 mm, again outperforming the fly on ground-moisture protection. Two vestibules totaling 2.18 m² give a vestibule ratio of 55% relative to interior space, useful for storing packs and boots for three people without crowding the sleeping area, and peak plus low vents help manage condensation. Six interior pockets, a gear loft, and an included footprint round out the feature set. This is a tent for car camping or short approaches where the extra weight is not a limiting factor.
