The Eureka TIMBERLINE SQ OUTFITTER 4 PERSON TENT sits at the top of the Timberline SQ range, trading portability for durability and interior volume. At 5.0 kg packed (4.5 kg minimum), it is the heaviest Timberline variant covered here, but that weight buys a 210D nylon oxford floor – considerably more abrasion-resistant than the 68D–75D polyester floors on the rest of the line – and a 1500 mm waterproof rating on both fly and floor, an upgrade over the SQ 4XT's 1000 mm. Five DAC Featherlite aluminum poles (12 mm) support a 68D ripstop polyester fly, and the 75D polyester taffeta inner uses partial mesh for ventilation. Floor area matches the SQ 4XT at 5.65 m² (1.41 m² per person) with a 145 cm peak height, but this model has only one door and one vestibule versus the SQ 4XT's two, trading access for a more robust fabric package. Steel skewer stakes anchor the pitch. Listed strictly for car camping and family use, it favors ruggedness over packability, best suited to a fixed base camp rather than mobile trips.
