The Naturehike Cloud-Peak 2 is a freestanding 4-season geodesic tent built on three aluminum poles in a crossed structure, making it one of the sturdier designs in Naturehike's range for wind and snow loading. The fly uses thin but tough 10D silicone ripstop nylon while the floor steps up to a heavier 20D fabric with the same treatment; the 3000/4000mm hydrostatic ratings are a secondary concern on a winter/expedition tent — structural rigidity against wind and the perimeter snow skirt that blocks drift and spindrift matter more here. At 2260g trail weight (2495g with accessories) and 1130g per person, the Cloud-Peak 2 sits on the heavier side for a 2-person tent, an expected trade-off for 4-season geodesic stability. A 5.75m² floor with two vestibules and two doors, though, provides notably more room than Naturehike's 3-season models — useful for extended bad-weather sits. Sixteen stakes anchor it even in exposed terrain. This is a tent built for mountaineering and serious winter backpacking, not lightweight summer thru-hiking, where its weight would be dead weight rather than an asset.
