A gear loft and a footprint are both included, so you're not buying an extra groundsheet or overhead storage separately. The 3-season rating means it's built for spring-to-autumn use, not sustained winter snow load. At nearly 2.5 kg, it's not a pack for fast-and-light backpacking; it suits car camping, basecamp setups, or short approaches where the extra fabric durability and included footprint matter more than shaving grams.
