Exped UL Pillow

The Exped UL Pillow is an ultralight inflatable pillow made from recycled 20D polyester with an anatomical shape designed to follow the curve of the head and neck better than a flat slab of a pillow. The M size measures 38 × 27 cm inflated and packs down to roughly the size of a tissue pack, making it one of the smallest sleep accessories around. At 51 g, it barely registers on a pack's total weight, so it's an easy add even to an ultralight kit where sleep comfort is usually the first thing cut. The shell is smooth polyester without a soft-touch finish, which some users find slippery compared to fleece-covered pillows — a common fix is slipping it inside a spare jacket or shirt. As a purely inflatable pillow with no foam core, it won't offer quite the stable support of hybrid designs, but for weight and packed size it's a reasonable trade. It suits gram-counted treks well and works just as easily as an add-on for weekend trips with a heavier pad.
