The Katabatic Gear Flex 30 Quilt is an ultralight three-season top quilt filled with 900 fill-power goose down treated with ExpeDRY hydrophobic finish. At 576 g it carries a 4°C comfort rating and -1°C limit, placing it in spring-to-autumn territory rather than deep winter. Continuous horizontal baffles and a differential cut keep the down evenly distributed and reduce cold spots. The shell is 10D Pertex Quantum ECO Ripstop with a Pertex Quantum Taffeta liner, both light and abrasion-resistant. There's no zipper or hood — the quilt attaches to the pad via Katabatic's patented cord-clip system, saving the weight of an insulated underside that would just get compressed under body weight anyway. A trapezoidal footbox holds its shape without extra hardware.
