The Feathered Friends Plover EX -25 is a women's expedition mummy bag built for the harshest conditions, filled with 1012 g of 900+ fill power goose down and wrapped in a waterproof Pertex Shield membrane (a 15D/40D ripstop blend, roughly 53 g/m²). A -32°C (-25°F) limit rating puts it firmly in winter-expedition and high-altitude territory rather than general three-season use, and the 1600 g total weight reflects that mission.
Box-baffle construction with a differential cut keeps the fill evenly distributed even in extreme cold, while a full-length, two-way zipper on the right side allows partial venting as well as full closure, backed by a draft tube along the zipper line. The 3D anatomical hood is contoured to the head shape to limit heat loss at the most exposed point.
The short-length cut (up to 160 cm) follows a women's fit, and a stuff sack is included. Unlike several other bags in the Feathered Friends lineup, this model is not listed as RDS-certified down, worth checking if that certification matters to you.
