The Marmot Trestles Elite Eco 0° is a winter-rated synthetic bag from the Elite Eco line, built for four-season use down to genuinely cold nights. Its EN comfort rating of -9°C and limit of -17°C make it the warmest model in the whole Trestles range. The HL-ElixR Eco fill is made from 100% recycled fibers and is PFC-free, pairing winter performance with a lower footprint than standard synthetics. Despite the winter-grade insulation it weighs 1,595 g, and with a warmth-to-weight ratio of 10.7 and roughly 94 g per degree of range, it's the most efficient bag among the compared models — synthetic fill scales better here than in the milder Trestles bags. Both shell and liner use 20D recycled polyester to keep weight down despite the loft, while an insulated draft tube and a left-side full-length two-way zipper round out the cold-weather details. The package includes both a compression stuff sack for travel and a larger storage sack to keep the fill lofted between trips. It suits winter backpacking and cold-weather trekking where wet-weather reliability matters more than down's lower pack weight.
