The Kelty Cosmic Ultra 20 is a three-season mummy bag with 800-fill hydrophobic DriDown, but with a notably smaller fill charge — 430 g — than its winter sibling, the Cosmic Ultra 0. The EN ISO 23537 rating reflects that: -1°C comfort, -7°C limit, and a -24°C extreme rating, though the extreme figure is a survival threshold, not a usable sleeping comfort temperature. At 1060 g total and a 6.6 warmth-to-weight ratio, it sits among the lighter three-season options for spring and autumn backpacking. Both shell and liner are 20D 400T nylon with a PFC-free DWR finish, and horizontally oriented trapezoidal baffles keep the down in place. Unlike the Cosmic Ultra 0, this model uses a one-way rather than two-way zipper, but keeps the same full draft collar and draft tube. Internal length is 198 cm, rated to a 182 cm maximum user height. Packing down to 33 x 20 cm — notably more compact than the winter version — the Cosmic Ultra 20 suits lighter multi-day trips outside deep winter, where pack volume matters as much as weight.
