The Marmot Never Winter 30° is a three-season down mummy bag built around 650 fill-power hydrophobic goose down, EN/ISO-tested to 5°C comfort and 0°C limit - solidly a spring/summer/early-autumn bag rather than genuine winter use, despite the name referencing a Fahrenheit rating. At 870 g it sits in the lighter half of three-season bags, helped by a box-baffle build that keeps down evenly distributed. A full-length, two-way locking YKK zipper on the left side is a notable detail - the locking slider prevents it creeping open overnight, and the two-way action allows footbox venting on warmer nights. A draft collar and draft tube limit heat loss at the closure, and the fitted hood seals reasonably well. Shell and liner are both 20-denier nylon (ripstop outside, plain weave inside), balancing durability and weight for regular three-season use. Worth noting: unlike several other Marmot bags, the down here isn't RDS-certified. It packs to 40 x 19 cm (4.7 L), cut for men up to 182 cm in Regular, with a stuff sack and one internal pocket included.
