The NEMO Tempo 20 is a synthetic-insulated version of NEMO's Spoon-shaped bag, aimed at side sleepers who want the knee-and-elbow room of the down Riff line without down's cost or moisture sensitivity. ISO testing rates it to a comfort of -1°C and limit of -7°C, using 1202 g of Stratofiber synthetic fill inside a 50D recycled polyester shell and liner with C0 DWR treatment. At 1650 g total, its warmth-to-weight ratio of 4.2 and roughly 236 g per degree of comfort are well below the down bags in this range, expected for synthetic fill, which needs more material for the same warmth but keeps performing when damp and costs less to replace. It compresses to 10.2 liters, larger than a comparable down bag, and includes only a stuff sack, no separate storage sack. A simple drawcord hood and single-direction left zipper keep the design straightforward, with an internal pocket for small items. Sized for users up to 198 cm - a practical choice for wet climates or budget-conscious trips rather than for hikers chasing the lowest pack weight.
